The women you see on my website are not professional models. They are everyday women like you who are soccer moms, stay at home moms, teachers, lawyers, brides etc. They are real women just like you who all have the same thoughts, nerves, insecurities, and hesitations you may be having about booking a session. It is my job to make you feel safe and completely comfortable before, during and after your photo session. I will guide your poses right down to your fingertips in order to get the perfect looks and expressions so you will look stunning.
Yes, I do offer professional hair and makeup services which is done at my studio before your photo session. If you do opt for hair and makeup, we need to pre-arrange at least 2 weeks before your session so I can confirm one of my professional artists for your session. This will be something we discuss when we book your session.
Most women will book their boudoir/glamour photo session anywhere from 4 weeks to 2 months ahead of time. You must keep in mind if you are wanting your product(s) to be completed within this time as well. I encourage my clients to get involved in the planning with picking outfits and preparing themselves for their photo session.
During your pre-consultation we will discuss what you love and what you are insecure about regarding your body. It is amazing what choices in wardrobe, great posing and lighting can do to flatter any figure. At times during your session, I can give you a peek at the back of my camera so you can see just how amazing you look. When you return for your viewing, all the photos will be professionally retouched to emphasize your beauty and femininity but not change who you are.
Boudoir portrait photography involves a certain level of undress(either lingerie, lounge-wear, other intimate apparel, or nothing at all. These images tend to be a little more real, candid, and natural looking(even though I pose and direct you throughout the whole session). These are meant to embrace a woman's sexuality, independence and femininity. Because of the posing and wardrobe, these images tend to be more intimate in nature. These also include detail shots of legs, lips, chest area, shoulders and body scapes.
Glamour portraiture is a bit more polished...with a finished "fine art" look and feel. Beauty portraiture is a great option for the woman who wants a smaller collection of absolutely breathtaking portraits of herself which are wall worthy.
It is also a great option for those woman that are not interested in baring too much skin. As I always say, beauty is not defined by showing skin but revealing your confidence and being comfortable in your ownself.
This is probably the popular question I get. The answer is very simple...what ever you feel beautiful in. Some great suggestions are bodysuits(which I highly recommend), an over-sized sweater/t-shirt, high waist panties, a robe, lingerie etc. Another option is a man's shirt or just wrapped in a sheet. I also have some props and clothing available you can use. During your session you typically have time for 3 outfits(yes, nude counts as an outfit). Once you've completed the booking process, you will receive a guide to help you with preparations and wardrobe choices.
I accept cash, check, or any major credit cards. I can either take a payment in person or over the phone. If it is more convenient, we can set up a payment plan for your product order only, as well.
I completely understand, these are specialized sessions, and they are not cheap, but I do offer options for different budgets. If it makes it easier, I also offer payment plans for your product order.
I do require a 50% retainer of the session fee in order to secure your time slot.
The remainder is due the day of the photo session. A lot goes into planning your photo session so it's important that I know you are serious about your boudoir/glamour photo session. The session fee is also nonrefundable.
We will be in touch soon!
Thank you for your note!
