I did a conceptual photo session with one of my high school seniors with the idea of “Light and Dark”.  We had so much fun even though it was a cold and rainy day. She was a real trooper putting up with the weather and me in order to get these photos. I made the flower and stick head pieces and was really excited to use them in this session.  There is beauty in all things and I love to capture beauty wherever I find it.  I styled the session and the makeup was done by Jackie Holden.

 

A very generous client gave me an antique wedding dress that was worn by her grandmother and have been very anxious to use it. The dress is a small size and I needed someone small enough to wear it. Turns out, Emily was just the right size. During this session, we were able to take some wonderful photos. I am embracing an old-fashioned nostalgic phase while having a lot of fun.

Is this cute or what! During one of my photo sessions, this little girl came along with her mom to accompany my client. After my client’s session I asked if I could take some photos of this cute little girl in a Red Riding Hood outfit. This one of the photos. I love it! I am thinking of offering some sessions like these. What do you think? Would love our feedback.
