I have been asked to speak again at the Rainier Camera Club in Buckley this coming Thursday evening.  My subject is “Techniques for Photographing Children.”  Hopefully, I will be able to impart some helpful information for them to use.

I saw this recipe for a Blueberry Muffin Pound cake which I thought looked really good.  Boy it was a process to complete but I thing it was worth the effort.  Since it took a while to create I thought it deserved me taking a photo of it to show you.  Brad got the first taste, but I kept myself from having a slice until I had taken a photo of the cake first.

A very generous client gave me an antique wedding dress that was worn by her grandmother and have been very anxious to use it. The dress is a small size and I needed someone small enough to wear it. Turns out, Emily was just the right size. During this session, we were able to take some wonderful photos. I am embracing an old-fashioned nostalgic phase while having a lot of fun.

I’m behind on posting because I’ve been so busy. In September, we took a vacation at the Ross Lake resort in the North Cascades. Wow, the adventure was amazing. Right on the lake, the resort is located in a peaceful area. It is so remote that you can’t get there by car. It takes a boat ride, a truck ride, then another boat ride to get to the resort. We had a great time at the resort and met a lot of great people. We didn’t realize how lucky we were to get a reservation because most people make reservations a year in advance.

Gallery Wraps are a great way to showcase your photos on any wall. Besides saving you the extra expense and hassle of matting and framing your photo, the finished product is ready to hang and they look like a painting. I have examples on view at my studio.
These are also great for wall displays of multiple photos as well.
